In detail, there are two different types of routing number: ABA and ACH. The ABA routing number is for checks, while the ACH number is for electronic withdrawals and transfers.
Can banks have multiple routing numbers?
Yes, certain banks can have multiple routing numbers for geographic reasons. For example, banks likeWells FargoandCitibankhave different routing numbers for different states and for functionality.
RBFCU has only one routing number that you’ll need to use: 314089681, so if you’re a Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union customer or are transferring money to an RBFCU account you’ll be using this number.

What is the Routing Number for International Transfers?
If you are needing to receive a transfer from overseas, you’ll need to provide the sender with a SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) code. SWIFT codes are routing numbers for international transactions between banks. They have eight to eleven digits with letters and numbers, unlike the routing number.
For example, if you work overseas and want to send money from your international account to a US, you’ll need a SWIFT code. Just call your bank or visit its website to find the SWIFT code for an international wire transfer.
Randolph-Brooks FCU does not have a SWIFT code, you might not be able to receive international wire transfersdirectly.
However, if you want to receive an international wire transfer at RBFCU, the sender must identify a corresponding U.S. bank and wire the money there, then that institution will use the RBFCU routing number to complete a domestic transfer.
Bottom Line
