The infusion services team at Ochsner strives to make your treatment experience as comfortable as possible. Our convenient locations offer a variety of comprehensive infusion services, including:

• Albumin infusions to help manage liver issues and low blood volume
• Anemia infusions and injections
• Antibiotic infusions
• Antiemetics therapy to treat nausea and vomiting
• Biotherapy
• Blood products/treatment for low platelets
• Blood transfusions
• Boniva injection for osteoporosis
• Chemotherapy
• Chronic kidney failure treatment
• Crohn’s disease treatment
• DDAVP infusions for patients with bleeding disorders
• Dressing changes for central lines
• Gamma globulin infusions for autoimmune diseases

• Intravenous immunoglobulin, an antibody therapy for patients who have weakened immune systems

• Chemotherapy Care Companion: a new app-based program where patients can manage symptoms at home and receive prompts from their provider
• Child Life Services specialists to help kids better understand and cope with their diagnosis and treatment
