Whether to cure, control or provide palliative care (specialized care focused on symptoms relief and improved quality of life for patients with a chronic illness, like cancer), the Ochsner infusion services team provides individualized treatment for every patient using advanced level technology. At our certified infusion centers, you can see a member of our care team, have labs completed and receive treatment in a single location. Each infusion center is staffed by certified nurses and support staff to provide the highest quality care in a compassionate environment.

Our infusion centers are certified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative and The Joint Commission. Our certified chemotherapy infusion units have earned designations through the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

The infusion services team at Ochsner strives to make your treatment experience as comfortable as possible. Our convenient locations offer a variety of comprehensive infusion services, including:

  • Albumin infusions to help manage liver issues and low blood volume
  • Anemia infusions and injections
  • Antibiotic infusions
  • Antiemetics therapy to treat nausea and vomiting

  • Boniva injection for osteoporosis
  • Chemotherapy

  • DDAVP infusions for patients with bleeding disorders
